WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU DOWNLOAD OR MOVE FILES FROM YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT. Fielding IT will copy everything from your Fielding Google account to your new Fielding Microsoft account. If you move files or emails out of Google, IT cannot copy them, and you may lose access.
What you should do is...
1. Make note of any files or calendars that have been shared with you in Google, or that you have shared with others. Sharing permissions can't be copied from Google to Microsoft, so any folders, files, forms, or calendars that you have shared through Google will need to be re-shared from Microsoft. Likewise, if someone has shared an item with you using your Fielding Gmail address, you will need to request that they re-share with your new Outlook email address once it is available.
2. Update any non-Fielding accounts where you have used your Fielding email address. When your new Outlook email address becomes available on October 24, use it to update any accounts, subscriptions, or platforms where you have used your Gmail address to subscribe or register. We will update your Fielding accounts, including Moodle and MyFielding.
