Kaltura is a video hosting platform that is integrated with Moodle. Kaltura provides faculty with a secure way to store video content and share it with students via Moodle.
To add a video to Kaltura:
- Open your course in Moodle.
- Use the navigation menu at the top left of your screen to locate and select your course's Media Gallery.
- Your media gallery contains all of the videos that you've uploaded and shared with your course. To upload a new video, select Add Media and follow the prompts to navigate to and upload your video.
- Once you have added your video to your Media Gallery, there are a variety of ways that you can include it in your course. With editing turned on, you can:
- Select + Add and activity or resource and choose Kaltura Video Resource. This will generate a secure link to your video and add it to your course.
- You can also add Kaltura video content to assignment descriptions, discussion posts, and anywhere else within Moodle that you find the Kaltura logo displayed.
