What is Moodle?
Moodle is a course platform or learning management system (LMS). Think of Moodle as your virtual classroom. You will enter your courses in Moodle to connect with your instructor, interact with classmates, and complete assignments. Depending on how your instructor has designed your course, you may use Moodle to:
- Download a course syllabus or other course documents.
- Follow a link to view an external resource.
- Submit an assignment.
- Post a comment on a discussion forum.
- View your grades and feedback.
- Watch videos and engage in Zoom meetings.
- Take a quiz or some other assessment of your progress.
Logging into Moodle
- You can log in to Fielding’s Moodle site at https://learning.fielding.edu. Your user name is the first part of your Fielding email (the part before the @ sign). It is usually your first initial and last name (no spaces). Do not enter your whole email address.
- Your password is the same one you created in WebAdvisor Self-Service after you were admitted - this is NOT your Fielding email password.
- It is recommended that you bookmark Fielding’s Moodle site (https://learning.fielding.edu) and routinely log in there to access courses.
You can also find a link to Moodle from within MyFielding:
